Description: In 1302 it was nominated as church of Santa Maria of "Casola Poza" as dependent on the Paullo Parish. Bishop Milani recalls the tradition that the antique church was at Cà del Lupo and precisely in a field in ancient times called Vari. In 1592 Bishop Rangone gives orders to have the roof fixed and to have the picture of the titular painted on the main door. The pastoral visit of Bishop Coccapani in 1626 finds restoration of the church and the sacristy and he has the baptismal font moved to the left of the main door. The present day building dates back to 1851. It has a sloping façade bordered by two angular pilaster strips. The architraved portal is surmounted by a lunette and by a central rosette. The inside has a hall-shaped layout, liturgically divided, with lateral chapels.
