Analytical text:

Mt. Giovarello is on the left side of the Dolo. It has a very particular cirque morphology with rocky walls covered with vegetation. The path, which begins at the La Romita (CAI path 603) crosses different vegetation strips: from chestnut fruit woods to beechwoods to then reach vast high altitude grasslands.
The landscape is charming: from the peak you can admire the Pietra di Bismantova, the Apuane Alps and the Serchio valley of Garfagnana, and on especially clear days the chain of the Alps towards north. Mt Giovarello at 1760 m is the last peak towards the west of the Reggiano ridge before reaching the Modena territory.
