Description
The church of Santo Stefano is nominated along with the one of Ripiola in the Register of Tithes of 1302 as daughter-house of the Minozzo Parish. In 1478 the parish was instead united to Febbio. In 1707 the church had a nave with three altars. The earthquake of 1920 seriously damaged the village, whose buildings were for the most part reconstructed. The church was substituted with the one at Tapignola made by the two hamlets of Santonia and Calizzo.
