Description
Archeological research done in the Felina area has shown stratifications in a period lying between the bronze and iron age. During excavations in 1974, beside the parochial sports field, ruins in calcified stone, abandoned ceramics, a bastoncello amber, parts of a cylindrical flat bottom jar and other products were found.
The first written mention dates back to the second half of the 10th century. The place name Felina indicates a vast valley to the east of the castle of the same name.
Today the same place name only indicates a series of buildings very close to the hamlet of "Magonfia".
