The path starts from the SS 63 near the bridge on the Riccò brook (Casa Cantoniera), not far away from the village of Busana. It follows a not particularly difficult path (touristic), difference in altitude 600 m (1500 m, 900 m), length 4200m, time needed (without stopping) 120'

Description:
Mt. Ventasso, with its unmistakable saddled-shaped contours of its peak, is located asymmetrically compared to the Tuscan-Emilian ridge, which is north f it. For excursionists who visit the Parco del Gigante it does not remain unobserved. From its summit, traditional destination for mountain lovers, you can enjoy a beautiful panorama of the Apennine ridge, with a magnificent view of all the major Reggiano peaks and of the Padana plains. Also important is the presence of under the peak of the mountain on the eastern side of the Santa Maria Maddalena oratory (1501 m), which was a place of heritage and hospitality in the middle ages.
