Itinerary in Detail:
The Mt Ventasso Nature Route is marked on the Excursion Chart of the Emilia Romagna Region with the initials: SB2 and it overlaps CAI route 661. From the S.M. Maddalena Oratory the following CAI routes start:
n 661 leads to the peak of Mt Ventasso and to Lake Calamone;
n 663 leads to Lake Calamone and to the same name Nature Route;
n 665 leads to Cervarezza.
During the route you can see rocky layers of clay and sandstone origin, humid zones, wide prairies and pasture fields.
On the route you can encounter wild ungulates and local birds.
