The sculpture made of white marble was made by the sculptor Ricci from Aosta.The three figures portraied want to convey the idea of the suffering, the sacrifice and the violence that the people from these places had to feel during the war.
The unveil was on 15 august 1974: Inside there is a pergamena with all the names of the dead, the missing and the deported men. In 1998 the monument was renovated by the pensioners' committee of Cinquecerri.
Inscription: "CINQUECERRI TO ITS FALLEN IN ALL THE WARS 15/8/1974" " N.Brugnoli, A.Canovi - Le Pietre Dolenti ".
