Description
Busana is a municipality of the Reggiano Apennines, spreading over a deep, open and wooded escarpment which climbs the left side of the Secchia river up to the peak of the Mount Ventasso.
The water and air of the town were even mentioned in the past: some still maintain that it is the cause of the slightly crazy and "sui generis" streak which distinguishes its inhabitants amongst all the others in the area.
Busana owes all of its attractive powers to the thick Chestnut woods, to the flowering fields of Mt. Ventasso, to the rare botanical species, and to being a privileged observation point of the Secchia valley. the poor constructions of past centuries have not been able to withstand the test of time, calamities, the last of which was the 1920 earthquake, human intervention have prevented the formation and conservation of an architectural heritage.
In the center of the village there's a modern church dedicated to Santa Maria Maddalena. At the far end of the village, where the entrances to the state road are, you can see two pillar majesties dedicated to the blessed Virgin of the Ghiara and to the Virgin Mary.
I the village there's also a Kiosk with arch entrance, of the blesses Virgin with child.
