Description
At the peak of a hill on the far northern part of town there's a chapel that indicates the place where up to the 7th of September 1920 the parish church stood which dated back to the second half of the XVI century.
The enormous quake of that day caused the church to collapse and the destruction of part of the same hill.
The church was later rebuilt near the town in the location Coperchia.
In 1935 the new church was consecrated.
A recovered fragment of the old church bares the inscription "ADN-SEI 1606"
The recovered old baptismal fountain is also noteworthy.
