Description
The area of Mt Acuto is abundant with lakes, the most important one gets its name from the peak that towers above it, it's origin is glacial, it has a wide surface void of vegetation where the top of the same name mountain is reflected. Lake Gora is situated just a little further down in a glacial origin basin; it is covered by abundant wetlands vegetation. Lake Gonella, also of glacial origin, has a reduced water surface and the vegetation is very similar to the previous one, because of this it has a peat-bog aspect.
