Description
On the provincial road which from Toano goes to Quara, near Casa Marastoni, there's the bridge of Malza. It's very hidden, in a very dark corner and near the bridge there's a chestnut wood with big chestnut trees. They say that at night, out there, you see lights flicker on and off and frightening screams. A man told that one night, while he was going over the bridge, he heard footsteps and turned to see who was there: he saw the Devil in the form of a large ram and was afraid of him. They also say that many years ago under the bridge or in the woods there were thieves; When someone passed by, the thieves with lighted lamps would attack them, with shouts that frightened them and they would rob them.
