Description:
The monument is constituted by an white marble allegoric bas-relief where a parisan is portrayed, and in its interior there is a glazed picture of the fallen. The whole munument structure is made in tuff and is placed inside an area surrounded by a flowerbed. The gravestone below is made by white marble with grooved epigraph. Its placement goes back to the 10 August 1947. About the first years of the 70s the cippus was settled on the initiative of Geo Azzolini mayor of Montefiorino and in charge of Enel.
Inscription: "GOLD MEDAL PARTISAN/ENZO BAGNOLI/FALLEN HERE WITH THE ARM IN HIS HAND/FIGHTING HEROICALLY/AGAINST THE HATED NAZI INVADER/WARNING THE YOUTH OF ITALY/THAT FREEDOM IS SACRIFICE/THE GRUPPO VOLONTARI DELLA LIBERTA'(the volountaries of freedom group)/MAKES HIM ETERNAL IN THIS MARBLE ON THE 30/07/1947//CASTELNOVO NE MONTI 27/2/1922 - LIGONCHIO 30/7/1944".
