From the administrative capital you take the SP 102 for Ventasso, after about 7 km you take a gravel road to get to the location Pratizzano, from here you take a forest road moving on for about another 5 km up to the Scalucchia Pass.

From the Scalucchia Pass you take Path 67 and continue

The ring itinerary touches the following zones: Scalucchia Pass - Mt Ramiseto - Buca del Moro - Poi - Sella del Casarola - Mt Casarola - Alpe di Succiso - Ghiaccioni - Mt Ramiseto - Scalucchia Pass.
The itinerary is rather long, completely marked by the CTG of Reggio Emilia and suited to trained excursionists, both for the length and a few rather delicate points of the route.

Itinerary in detail
The itinerary starts at the Scalucchia Pass (1367 m) following path 67 which leads up to Buca del Moro (1485 m) from here you leave the 67 and take on the right path 69. This latter one goes around the area of Poi, here there's also an emergency station, you then go on into a wood of Beech and climb the ridge a little and reach the P. Consiglio shelter (1570 m). From the shelter you take path 75 which descend in to the valley traced by the bed of the Rio Pascolo, you pass it and climb up quickly on the north-western side of Mt Casarola (1979 m), having reached Sella del Casarola path 71 turns right and continues climbing till it reaches the peak of Alpe di Succiso (2017 m). From Alpe you descend along the side heading south until you reach the Pietra Tagliata Pass (1750 m). From the pass the road bends decidedly to the right on path 73 and in about 40 minutes of descent you reach Ghiaccioni (1375 m). From Ghiaccioni you climb once again on the right towards Mt. Ramiseto (1680 m) to then go back to the P. Consiglio shelter on Path 73, from here you take the same road in the opposite direction, this time though it's all downhill.
